As a certified Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) provider, Dr. Kim specializes in treating musculoskeletal injuries–neck pain, low back pain, frozen shoulder, and carpal tunnel syndrome, among others–with an emphasis in rehabilitation.
Dr. Kim has an inclusive sports medicine background, as he has worked with the team medical staff of the Los Angeles Dodgers for several seasons. His duties included prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of the players before, during, and after all home games at Dodger Stadium. In addition, Dr. Kim also worked with NCAA Division-1 college athletes during his time working with the intercollegiate sports medicine staff at UC Irvine from 2002-2005.
Before joining Whole Health Clinic, Dr. Kim worked under the supervision of Dr. Craig Liebenson–team chiropractor of the NBA Los Angeles Clippers, and widely considered the pre-eminent voice of spinal rehabilitation in multiple circles of health care. Dr. Kim recently assisted Dr. Liebenson as an assistant instructor during a rehabilitation seminar and workshop, which routinely takes place all across the globe.
When not working at Whole Health Clinic, Dr. Kim serves as an assistant instructor for a Physical Therapeutics course at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, CA.
